Summary:The tradition grandmother, was formed by three partners and is dedicated to produce and package Colada de Machica in the Parrish of Batán near Feria Libre in Cuenca, Azuay Province. The distribution will be in differente markets around the city. This research was made using 97.693 families from the results, then we personally interviewed three of them. The methodology used for this project of thesis was: inductive, deductive and statistical method. The observation techniques were interview and survey. From de market investigarion we got the following results. Potential Demand 87.94%, Real Demand 68.57%, Effective annual demand 5.655.264 liters of Colada de Machica, Annual supply of production 4.800 liters, annual unmet demand 5.650.464 liters of production. In the technical study it was determined that when the new factory is running and operating at 100% of manufacturing the capacity, we can produce 212.000 liters of colada. In the first year we will use 80% of manufacturing capacity from which we will produce 169.600 liters of Colada de Machica. Our financial research has determinate the we need an investment of $ 34.867,14 for fixed assets, deferred assets $ 897,75 and for a month of operations we will need fixed circulating assets of $ 12.528,74, making a total investment of $48.293,63, for the first year the selling price of $ 1.22 for each unit has been set. When we multiply the 169.600 units offered for sale the first year we will generate an income of $ 206.912. the profit and loss statement for the first year shows net income of $ 27.466,54, the break efen point $ 130.974,19, against sales of 60.47% of manufacturing capacity. In our financial evaluation the results were: net current value $ 107.567,32 internal rate of return 58.80%, benefit cost 1.30 and the capital recovery period 1 year, nine months and seven days. From the sensitivity analysis we got a 0,999695302 with a cost increase of 19.22% and an income decrease of 10.65% with a sensibility of 0,990475859. According to the results, of this rearch we found that their is an unsatisfied demand of Colada de Machica production. We also conclude that this Project is feasible.
