| Yhteenveto: | The research was framed about THE USE OF TEACHING MATERIAL TO FAVOR THE FIELD OF LOGICAL MATHEMATICAL RELATIONS IN HIGH SCHOOL CHILDREN OF THE BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOL ALONSO DE MERCADILLO OF LOJA CITY, IN THE PERIOD 2019-2020. as a general objective was set, to know if the use of didactic material contributes to favor the area of logical mathematical relations in high school children. The methods used in the research were: scientific, deductive and analyticalsynthetic, the same helped to efficiently achieve the proposed goal. Among the techniques and instruments used were: a survey applied to high school teachers and a rating scale to children of the same level, with skills in the field of logical mathematical relations. We worked with a non-probability sample made up of 30 children and a teacher; through the results obtained in the initial diagnosis, it was evidenced that 89% of the children have not acquired the mathematical skills corresponding to their age. In order to contribute to the improvement of the problem, a proposal was carried out based on the use of didactic material for teaching mathematics, thereby obtaining positive results, where 94% of children reached the acquired level of the abilities; thus concluding that the application of the alternative proposal allowed the improvement of the learning of logical mathematical skills, verifying the effectiveness of the didactic material used as a pedagogical tool to enhance logical thinking |
