The purpose of this research was to evaluate the level of sexual satisfaction, analyze the quality of life in the patients with epilepsy attended in the outpatient clinic at Medilab-Loja Hospital, according to sex and age group; and, estimate the relationship between both variables. Predominance of low level of sexual satisfaction was obtained with 38% (n=27) and predominance of regular quality of life with 27% (n=19). It was evidenced that there is a greater relationship between the low level of sexual satisfaction and regular quality of life in the patients with epilepsy which 17% (n=12), demonstrating a statistically significant association between both variables with p <0.0001. Women experience low levels of sexual satisfaction and poor quality of life in relation to the opposite sex, especially in young adults. Therefore, the interaction between the two variables and the impact of sexual satisfaction must be taken into account as a key factor, both in sexual health and in general well-being and quality of life
