Rosa Elena Eguiguren from the city of Loja, academic period 2020-2021. Alternative guidelines has as a general objective, to analyze interculturality in the students of the EGB School and as specific objectives: to base interculturality in the school coexistence of the students; describe the different moments of school coexistence in students; propose alternative guidelines that contribute to interculturality and that contribute to the school coexistence of students; Different scientific, analytical, inductive, deductive, hermeneutical and statistical methods were used; The type of study is descriptive with a non-experimental design, which made the work feasible and the importance of interculturality in education and learning could be evidenced, providing support to the improvement of school coexistence; the study was carried out with a population of 11 students and one teacher; the techniques used were: observation, interview and survey; instruments: observation file, questionnaire; procedures for diagnosis, theoretical foundation, proposal of alternative guidelines; As a main conclusion, it is deduced that interculturality affects the school coexistence of students, since in the absence of knowledge and practice of the intercultural values necessary for a harmonious coexistence between different cultures, students will present problems such as: discrimination, lack of practice of values, and difficulty to integrate with their peers and solve daily school activities, their school life will be affected.
