Summary:The research work entitled: GAME THERAPY AS A PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL STRATEGY TO REDUCE DISRUPTIVE CONDUCT IN EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS IN PARALLEL BASIC EDUCATION A, OF THE EDUCATIONAL UNIT PIO JARAMILLO ALVARADO, 2019-2020, its general objective, to propose play therapy as a psychoeducational strategy to decrease disruptive behaviors in eighth grade students of basic parallel education A. Quantitative research, non-experimental design, cross-sectional, exploratory and descriptive type; the scientific method was used, applying the evaluation questionnaire in the center's discipline problem: type of disruption and anti-social behavior of Fidel Navarro Garcia to the sample of 28 students. The results found, in large percentages show a high level of disruptive behavior, 68.18% negative attitude towards school work and with the same percentage a level of disrespect for the rules of coexistence, and for 54.54% show a negative attitude towards school work. Concluding that, in view of the difficulties caused by disruptive behaviors, the students investigated are mostly at a high and medium level and a psychoeducational process is necessary to diminish or prevent significant problems, for this reason, it is recommended to apply the proposed proposal, which costs eight duly structured workshops
