| Ամփոփում: | The current investigation was carried out in the Loja canton, belonging to the Loja province, the applied methodology was developed in four phases: the first corresponds to the diagnosis of the Loja canton based on the characterization of the conservation and production zones within the cantonal territory; the second phase concerns the analysis of land use capacity; the third part corresponds to agroecological zoning and land use conflicts; and the last part refers to the proposal of development alternatives and their corresponding lines of action. In the Loja canton, 91.9% of its territory presents an overuse, a conflict that occurs in greater quantity in the southern part of the canton; While 2.3% of the area is underutilized, this type of conflict occurs mainly in the south-central part of the canton. In 5.7% of the cantonal area there is no type of conflict. In other words, the current use of the land in the vast majority of the cantonal territory does not conform to the natural capacity of the land. The map of land use conflicts in the Loja canton allows us to observe and conclude that the highest level of conflict is given by agricultural and livestock use where soil conservation practices should be carried out. By area, the greatest conflict is of medium degree and is associated with the absence of conservation practices in crops, poor management of pastures and overgrazing. Keywords: conservation, land use capacity, agronomic zoning. |
