Nursing students are those people who are formally linked to an academic circle, who through the education imparted gain knowledge, skills, skills and attitudes. Nowadays in our country, region and province there have been complaints about the health workforce, without leaving aside a high percentage of nurses who fail to comply with the ethical principles demanded by the profession; According to COIP, between August 2014, which entered into force this Code and January 2015, the Prosecutor's Office opened 57 preliminary inquiries against health personnel nationwide. The present investigation is of transversal type whose main objective is to determine the ethical values of the students and their relation to the quality of the nursing care, in the same participated 90 patients of the Hospital Isidro Ayora and 143 students that carry out their clinical practices in this one House of health, to obtain the information it was necessary to conduct interviews and the application of surveys the same ones that were directed to the users and students respectively. This allowed us to know the ethical values they apply, where 45% solidarity and 45% respect are frequent, establishing the relationship between the ethical behavior of students and the quality of care they provide, Taking the opinion from their perspective and that of the patient.
