description Vascular wilt Babaco is caused by the fungus Fusarium oxysporum and is one of the most destructive diseases in cultivated areas, and for this reason is the subject of this research as to how to evaluate the biocontrol of Vascular Wilt Babaco (VWB) using antagonistic microorganisms under in vitro and in vivo conditions on crop growth. This research was conducted at the Center for Biotechnology at the National University of Loja, isolates of F. oxysporum (QUI2) and (AML2) were taken from the collection of babaco rhizosphere microorganisms from the Biotechnology Center as well as isolates of Trichoderma viride (ECM6) and rhizobacteria (Enterobacter amnigenus, Kluyvera intermedia and Lelliottis amnigena). Two-industrial experiments on the fungus bacteria (F. oxysporum-Trichoderma-E. amnigenus, K. and L. intermediate amnigena) were conducted. 7 treatments were performed in laboratory of each of the Fusarium oxysporum isolates and 5 treatments were conducted under greenhouse conditions. To evaluate the percentage of biocontrol of each treatment, the inhibition percentage pertaining to radial growth (IPRG) was measured using Abbott's formula. For the in vivo evaluation, 55 x 60 day old plants were used, and inoculated with a conidia suspension of Fusarium and Trichoderma 1x106 CFU / ml. The inoculum of rizobacteria was prepared as a suspension adjusted to a concentration level of 1x108 CFU / ml on the McFarland scale. The percentage of biocontrol, both in vitro and in vivo assays were conducted under a completely randomized design (CRD). Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version XXII. For the variance analysis the Tukey test was applied to determine the best treatments applied. The control of vascular wilting was more effective with the treatment of F. oxysporum (AML2) + Trichoderma + E. amnigenus, both under laboratory and greenhouse conditions. It became clear that the bacteria inoculated on their own were unable to control the disease. These preliminary results obtained clarified the controlling effect of different microbial combinations in establishing a biocontrol strategy in the cultivation of Babaco.

These preliminary results obtained clarified the controlling effect of different microbial combinations in establishing a biocontrol strategy in the cultivation of Babaco.
