“ESTUDIO JURIDICO, SOCIOLÓGICO Y COMPARADO DEL INCREMENTO DE LOS VENDEDORES AUTÓNOMOS Y DE LOS COMERCIANTES MINORISTAS EN LA CIUDAD DE LOJA”.

The present work of Curricular Integration called "Legal, Sociological, and Comparative Study of the Increase of Independent Sellers and Retailers in the City of Loja" presents as general objective the realization of a legal and comparative study self- employed sellers and retailers. The interest in conducting the present research arises from the increase of self-employed sellers that we have observed in the city, which has occurred due to several sociological factors that have led to the growth of this vulnerable sector, being one of the most vulnerable groups, being forced to go out to sell in the streets. Both international organizations and national sources have expressed their opinion on the issue and have been concerned about this situation, even generating debates among the authorities to take control of this problem. In order to support and demonstrate this research, surveys and interviews were conducted with the people most related to and knowledgeable about the subject, of course, people who lived in the trade who are the most related and knowledgeable about how the situation is in this difficult task. On the other hand, the results are those that will allow us to reflect the lack of job opportunities and the violation of constitutional rights suffered by this sector, due to the lack of adequate intervention by the authorities, the reflection of a regulation that is not being effective, as well as the absence of policies and cooperation by the State to improve the situation in order to prevent this sector from continuing to be violated.
