Zusammenfassung:Oral language is necessary to communicate with others, it is a means to express ideas, thoughts, and feelings, it can also form sentences and phrases that facilitate comprehension and oral expression, it is necessary for interaction with society, in the acquisition of knowledge and learning for daily life. The research of this article had the objective of analyzing if verbal games help in the oral language in high school students, the researcher worked with a mixed approach: qualitative and quantitative, the first allowed the collection of information, the analysis and description of the problem, thus helping in the construction of the activity guide, the second was present in the application of the instrument that provided the results and the percentage to give answers to the objectives set out in the research. The research had a quasi-experimental design because the independent variable (verbal games) was manipulated, the sample was non-probabilistic and selected according to the researcher's needs. The scope was descriptive because it allowed to refer to the characteristics of the children, the deductive method was used to facilitate a concrete and deductive analysis, which gave sense and order to the work. It was also based on the analytical-synthetic method of the two variables verbal play and oral language. The Plon R test instrument was used which evaluates the difficulties in the development of language, it was applied to 23 children, from 5 to 6 years old, it was evidenced that 83% in delay, and 13% need improvement, and 4% in normal with the application of the activity guide ¨El tesoro del saber¨ through the execution of the verbal games a significant change was evidenced reaching 61% in need improvement and 17% of children in the normal level. Concluding that verbal games are an important and effective tool for language development, improving the pronunciation of phonemes, expression, and articulation, making it fluent.
