总结: | In this study, the ecological footprint by 2014 in the AARNR, which involves analyzing human demands on the biosphere by comparing human consumption with regenerative capacity of the Earth was calculated and eco-efficiency measures were proposed. Tons of carbon dioxide (t CO2) released into the atmosphere because of the consumption of electricity, paper consumption, construction of buildings, mobility, water consumption and waste generation, using emission factors obtained from various sources was determined. The space occupied by the AARNR was 2.67 ha, in which it was determined that the amount of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere was 330.97 t / C02 / ha / year. The CO2 fixation capacity in forest land in the province of Loja in living and dead biomass accumulates was 4,404 t / C02 / ha / year. Also it required for the absorption of CO2, same that was 75.15 area is calculated. With these results it was determined that the ecological footprint was 0.12 hag / person / year, which is a low value compared to reports from other universities. Besides the absence of determined ecological deficit with a biocapacity of 1.79 hag / person / year. The eco-efficiency measures proposed allow the reduction of environmental impacts caused by activities of the study area. In itself knowledge of the ecological footprint is attributed in the lifestyle of a person or community and its commitment to the environment. Keywords: Ecological Footprint, biocapacity, Ecological deficit, eco-efficiency. |
