Opis
Streszczenie:The perinatal period is a critical phase from conception to the first weeks postpartum, during which women experience significant physiological, psychological and emotional changes. This thesis focuses on identifying and characterizing the most common psychological problems in this period, such as depression, anxiety and posttraumatic stress. A systematic review of the scientific literature was carried out to establish a solid evidence base on the prevalence and risk factors associated with these disorders. The research was based on a multidisciplinary approach, integrating knowledge from the medical and psychological areas to provide a comprehensive understanding of how these problems affect pregnant women. Organic and sociocultural factors that contribute to the development of these disorders were identified, underscoring the importance of adequate prenatal and postnatal care that includes mental health monitoring. The study included a sample of women at different stages of pregnancy and postpartum, highlighting the need for specific preventive and therapeutic interventions. The results reveal that a high percentage of women experience depressive symptoms and high levels of stress during and after pregnancy, which can negatively affect both the mother and the child's development. The thesis concludes with the proposal of an informative guide for health professionals and pregnant women, with the aim of improving the detection and management of these psychological problems. This guide aims to foster a supportive and wellbeing environment, promoting mental health during the perinatal period and contributing to the reduction of the incidence of psychological disorders in this vital stage
