The following methods were applied: inductive - deductive, scientific, statistical, analysis and synthesis techniques and instruments such as survey 3 coaches, observation and test chips athletes were used. We conclude that traditional methods used by coaches, have not allowed the proper domain of the technical fundamentals of football in the formative categories. Coaches do not have expertise in teaching the technical fundamentals of football in the formative categories. The athletes evaluated presented a low level of technical preparation. Año 2015, cuyo objetivo general diseñar un programa de ejercicios en espacio reducido para la enseñanza de los fundamentos técnicos del fútbol con balón en el club Peñarol del Cantón Zapotillo. Año 2015. La revisión de literatura está organizada en categorías, se describe los fundamentos técnicos del fútbol, planificación, espacio reducido e iniciación deportiva. Se aplicaron los siguientes métodos: inductivo - deductivo, científico, estadístico, análisis y síntesis, se utilizaron técnicas e instrumentos tales como la encuesta a 3 entrenadores, fichas de observacion y test a los deportistas. Concluimos que los métodos tradicionales que utilizan los entrenadores, no han permitido el dominio correcto de los fundamentos técnicos del fútbol en las categorías formativas. Los entrenadores no tienen conocimientos en la enseñanza de los fundamentos técnicos del futbol en las categorías formativas. Los deportistas evaluados presentaron un bajo nivel de preparación técnica.
