الملخص:Currently, one of the main health problems associated with nutritional status and lifestyle that the adult population faces are malnutrition disorders. Health personnel daily face stressful situations that determine the adoption of unhealthy habits that cause the appearance of chronic non-communicable diseases (CNCD). The purpose of this research was to evaluate the nutritional status, identify the lifestyle of health personnel who work in District 11D05 Espíndola-Salud, according to age group and sex; and, establish the relationship between both variables. Study with a quantitative, cross-sectional approach, with a sample of 90 participants who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, to whom the Body Mass Index (BMI) and the test of practices and beliefs about lifestyles were applied. Obtaining a high percentage of normal weight 52.2%, especially in young adults, 33.3% overweight, 13.3% obesity grade 1 and 1.1% underweight. Both sexes presented a healthy lifestyle with 77.8% mostly in ages between 18 to 39 years and 22.2% unhealthy lifestyle in men and women of all age groups studied. It was evidenced that normal weight had a greater relationship with a healthy lifestyle, showing a statistically significant association between both variables with p<0.001. Concluding that half of the participants had normal weight and 3 out of 10 were overweight, while the majority of young adults had a healthy lifestyle
