Summary:This research summary: ALCOHOL AND ITS IMPACT ON FAMILY VIOLENCE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE DISTRICT PROGRESS CITY Catacocha PERIOD 2011-2012. Aims to analyze the incidence of domestic violence in the inhabitants of neighborhood of Progress, the type of study was descriptive; the methods used were: scientific; synthetic analytical deductive; Inductive, the survey was applied to 100 inhabitants and an instrument test Audit was used to determine the level of alcohol and self-domestic Violence resulting: in relation to consumption 49% are in harmful drinking, 38% are at risk consumption and 13% will have alcohol dependence in terms of the Domestic Violence 30% of the population lives on the first level of abuse, and 25% are living a relationship of abuse dangerous. As conclusion: Progress In the neighborhood of the city of Catacocha regarding alcohol a significant percentage of the population studied is in a harmful use, in relation to domestic violence are living a first level of abuse, another percentage likewise live in relating to dangerous abuses so states that if alcohol effects on Domestic Violence. The recommendations refer to the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion, the group of Alcoholics Anonymous and the inhabitants of the neighborhood that make Progress awareness of the damage that alcohol causes to your health, family and society in general.
