| Shrnutí: | This research work was about Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and its influence on the psychosocial development in students of tenth grade at "27 de Febrero" High School. The general objective was to analyze the influence of ICT on the psychosocial development of students of tenth grade at "27 de Febrero" High School in the city of Loja, during the 2022-2023 school year. The methods used were the following: scientific, analytical, descriptive, inductive, statistical; and as a technique the interview that was applied to the teachers and the survey that was applied to the students of the tenth grade, the sample was 104 human beings which were distributed by 89 students and 15 teachers in order to clarify the investigated problem, it was determined through the application of different workshops, that the correct use of ICT helps students to acquire new skills and enrich knowledge. However, it is concluded that the excessive and bad use of ICT presents a danger for adolescents, leading them to a technological addiction that ends with their family and social relationships, with physical and mental health showing a low academic performance, to all psychosocial development, too. ICT are indispensable tools that help us in our daily lives despite the many activities that we achieve more easily and quickly, however, also their use have some risks because of the wrong use of them, so it is essential the control by parents towards the use of technology being necessary to create a culture of awareness about the correct use of ICT.
