סיכום:The following investigation was developed with the purpose to study in an integral way in order to understand and explain the prevailing stress sources in the area academics, and the relation between subjective well being, physiological, emotional, state of health, and principle psycho educative needs of the students belonging to the area of nursing of human health. In each of the modules was considered the gender where it was determined the sources of prevailing academic stress as well as the value of the general state of mental health of the students and verify the subjective perceptions of psychological well being and evaluate the levels of subjective well being, perceive different reaction or emotional states and establish the psycho educative needs. The research was conducted at the Nursing Area of human health from the National University of Loja with 211 students during the academic period from January to July 2014. It is a quantitative, descriptive and analytic study. The tools used to conduct this investigation where: SISCO inventory of Academic Stress, questionnaires on the sources of academic stress, questionnaires on general health, Inventory of academic responses to stress, Sánchez Casanova’s subjective well-being scale, the BIEPS-J scale of psychological well being, auto report experiential and psycho-educational needs questionnaire with which it was shown a general prevailing academic stress in an an 86.40% of the students; 82.80% in females and 86.50% in males. The top five sources of academic stress are exams; academic overload; class presentations, lack of time to meet the academic activities and awaiting course grades. Most students show excellent mental health. The subjective perception of psychological well being was found to be damaged, but the level of subjective well-being was well. The main reactions to stress were found to be restlessness, irritability, distrust, insecurity and anxiety which suggest as psycho-educational needs and suggest students to acquire training techniques such as, study plans, learning strategies, professional orientation, information, assistance and support. The psycho educative characteristic were, stress management towards exams and have access to personalized guidance from teachers and / or students within the same career.
