During the period January to June 2013 . Data collection was carried out by applying the test of modified Morinsky -green , consisting of a self- report on adherence to treatment. 52.38 % of the patients were previously adhered to the indicated therapy . The average age was 61-80 years , predominantly female , and mostly occupying Housework , Comprehensive Primary level instruction. Moderately adherent and non- adherent , patients had attributed factors relating to the patient , the disease , the treatment and the doctor- patient relationship. KEYWORDS : Diabetes, Hypertension , Therapeutic Adherence.El objetivo fue determinar la adherencia terapéutica y los factores relacionados a la no adherencia en pacientes hipertensos y/o diabéticos tipo 2 en el Subcentro de Salud de Motupe, fue un estudio descriptivo transversal, cuyo universo fueron todos los pacientes Diabéticos y/o Hipertensos, atendidos en la consulta externa, 123 pacientes; y la muestra: todos los pacientes entre 18-89 años de edad con Diabetes Mellitus tipo 2 y/o Hipertensión Arterial; 63 pacientes. Durante el periodo enero-junio 2013. La recolección de datos se llevó a cabo mediante la aplicación del test de morinsky-green modificado, que consiste en un auto informe sobre adherencia al tratamiento. El 52,38% de los pacientes estuvo adherido a la terapia indicada. La edad promedio fue 61-80 años, predominando el sexo femenino, y en su mayoría de ocupación Quehaceres Domésticos, con nivel de instrucción Primaria Completa. Los pacientes medianamente adheridos y no adheridos, presentaron factores imputables en relación al paciente, la enfermedad, el tratamiento y la relación médico-paciente.
