| Тойм: | The present research work was carried out in the Malla sector of the canton of Catamayo and Algarrobera of the canton of Gonzanamá in order to determine the quality of milk and production levels considering the biotype, number of births, lactation stage and the place. 33 "Chuscas" goats were used, which were in different stages of lactation and number of births; four visits were made trying to coincide with the beginning, intermediate and end of lactation with an interval of 15 days between visits; During the first visit, general data was taken from the owner about the place and the animal in such a way as to generate a register during the whole study of the goats; to determine the productive levels, the observational units were milked in depth in the morning hours, with the help of a digital scale the weight was taken, as well as a sample of 50 ml of milk was taken to take to the laboratory to determine the quality. The results obtained in regard to production indicate that the lactation stage of the goat "chusca" lasts 180 days, reaching 66060 ml, with a daily average of 367 ml of milk, presenting a peak of production around 30 and 60 days, in the productive levels influences the biotype and the number of births determining that the goats belonging to the biotype ODL are higher in terms of daily milk volume and that the lactation curve is reached to the fourth birth with 519 ml, considering a productive life of six births; The volume also depends on the altitudinal floor where the animals are handled and the feed available. By means of the chemical physical analysis the average of the following parameters was obtained: fat (5.24%); SNG (8.19%); ST (13.45%); density (1.033 g/ml); lactose (4.59%); mineral salts (0.68%); protein (3.01%); conductivity (5.10 mS/cm) and pH (6.68); milk quality is not influenced by the biotype, number of births and place if not by the lactation stage. For this reason, it is recommended to improve the management of goats and to implement food supplementation. Keywords: Goat "Chusca lojana", Biotype, milk parameters, production levels, lactation. |
