Gaia:The general objective of this research is to strengthen attention and reflexivity by applying the PIAA-R program to a student with attention problems in the sixth grade of the 18 de Noviembre Primary Education School in 2023. A mixed-approach methodology of descriptive and cross-section type and the case study method were applied. For the evaluation, different tests were applied: the d2 test, which results indicate that the student has attention problems; the Stroop test, which interference index is -10 with a typical score of 40, which allows us to appreciate a low average level in the ability to inhibit stimuli that are not relevant for the correct execution of the task. The scores on the TMT were 48 and 215 for parts A and B, respectively, showing that much more time is required for task B, which demands cognitive flexibility. In the Tower of Hanoi, the task could not be completed, neither with three disks nor with four, since the instructions of the test were not met, making type 2 errors in both towers, which reflects that there are difficulties in planning and problem-solving that require consciously directed regulation and control. With the application of the PIAAR-R program, there were advances in cognitive performance associated with attention, inhibition, cognitive flexibility, planning, and problem-solving. It is concluded that with the application of the PIAAR-R program, the student's attention and reflexivity were strengthened.
