Sumari:The research work is focused on developing a water purification prototype that guarantees the quality of the liquid for human consumption, contributing to the reduction of PET plastics, and providing information on its operation through a telemetric control network. The initial research defined the stages for purification, opting for sediment filtration, activated carbon and membrane (ultrafiltration) methods, with the addition of an ultraviolet lamp for disinfection. The second phase determined the electronic design for the control of the prototype, incorporating low-cost components, highlighting the ESP32 microcontroller as the main integrated circuit. Thirdly, it was decided to use WiFi technology for the telemetric control of the device, both locally and remotely. This allows real-time monitoring of the device status, such as water supply or filter life. Finally, the operation of the machine was evaluated with technical tests of the water reservoir and dispenser system, and laboratory tests of the water quality. From this, it was established that the prototype satisfies the purpose of providing purified water and contributing to the reduction of plastic contaminants.
