Summary:The investigation it had as aim design an offer of educational intervention to strengthen the familiar functionality and to improve the auto esteem of the students who are in the second year of bachelor´s degree C in the Educational Unit Calasanz; it was a descriptive study of transverse court, almost an experimental design. The sample was made it in 30 students; the methods were in use: scientific, analytical, synthetic, inductive - deductive, descriptive, comprehensive, of diagnosis, of production and model application. It uses the questionnaire of familiar functionality and auto esteem. Results: the diagnose shows that 73, 33 % do not converse in family, 76, 66 % that they do not have personal satisfaction. Pre-test familiar functionality is showing that 66, 66 % have dysfunctional affect; pos-test 99, 66 % improve in a high level of functional communication. Pre-test of auto esteem shows 46, 66 have a low level of emotional auto esteem, pos-test have high level of 66, 66 % with low physical auto esteem. Using the r of Pearson we have a positive familiar relation of 0.99, also exists functional affective, 0.67 with positive relation moderated in academic auto esteem. In conclusion this study shows familiar dysfunction and low auto esteem in the students.
