El arte y el desarrollo de la creatividad de los niños y niñas de 3 a 5 años del instituto educativo San Francisco Javier, año lectivo 2010-2011

The title of this work is the development of art and creativity of children of 3-5 years of the educational institute San Francisco Javier, school year 2010- 2011. The overall objective is to explain the incidence of Art in developing Creativity of children. The methods used in this work are descriptive, deductive, analytic-synthetic. A survey of teachers whose questionnaire was aimed to know how art is applied during classes and an observation guide to children to identify features of his creativity was applied. They were selected by simple 4 teachers and 60 children in early education random sampling. It's most notable result according to the survey of teachers is that 75% say that sometimes apply creative teaching strategies, but do not explain what. Thus, the development of creativity in children three to five years of age is represented as follows: Very satisfactory = 13.3% defined by the musical establishment. Satisfactory = 36.3% for the three areas. Unsatisfactory = 50.3% for the three areas. It was concluded that the application of Art by the pre-school teachers, not satisfactorily develop creativity in children three to five years. We recommend using artistic languages oriented creative expression
