Which manner maternal risks are related with the hypertensive disorders such as preeclampsia, gestational hypertension, and chronic hypertension these occurred with frequently in pregnant women who were admitted to the Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Hospital Isidro Ayora. In the same direction were developed the general aim and the specific aims of the research that we sought. To relate the maternal risks that was founded and detected into appearance of hypertensive disorders in pregnant women who were admitted to the Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Methodology that was implemented during this research was the retrospective research and the descriptive research that involved pregnant women who are relate to the object of research was implemented. The instrument used for data collection was a token retrieval of medical records, in which relevant data of pregnant women that were admitted to the Gynecology and Obstetrics was obtained. For a better interpretation of the results collection and tabulation of data obtained through the Microsoft Excel software, what was used to present information in draw? The results showed pregnant women who were admitted to Gynecology and Obstetrics offices corresponds to the age group ranging from 34 years and up; also a large percentage of chronic degenerative diseases are antecedents that contribute to diabetes mellitus, obesity and have developed a hypertensive condition that no doubt are considered biohazards that impairs the pregnancy process, within the social environmental risk in basic general education that occupy a high percentage, and also was considered a risk for developing hypertensive disease due to lack of information during pregnancy complications, another important statistic was the appearance of hypertensive disorders suffered by pregnant women who were admitted to Gynecology and Obstetrics offices.
