Aggiungi Tag | Riassunto: | The new curriculum reform of basic education in the country, carries with one hand the integration of ancient structures unrelated to each other, as are Garden, School and College, to provide ten years of basic education and three years of high school; and, on the other hand it brings increased services and institutional activities in both the academic and administrative area. The National University of Loja as active entity of society to contribute to the hard work of the teachers and administrators who work in the educational unit attached solving somehow part of the problems they have, such as managing the flow of information , generation and production of reports in an efficient and timely, also improving certain processes of academic management, and thus fulfill its commitment to lojana youth. This research aims to implement a system of Academic Management for Educational Unit Attached to the National University of Loja with the purpose of contributing to the development and integration of the educational unit to provide network implementation as a basis thereof and a software tool to support academic management that allows handle the volume of information, services and activities that will be generated from such integration. To achieve this goal has been taken as working tools in relation to costs and benefits the following structure for software development: as MySQL database for the features provided as a database and its license to be free software for the development of the user interface java widely known robustness, flexibility characteristics, but through the NetBeans IDE software publisher program; as ICONIX methodology, which is a hybrid between extreme programming XP and RUP well known. In all of the above it joins all libraries and open source applications and free distribution license on the Web such as: JGoodies, swinglab, JFreeReport, javahelp and IzPack to facilitate the work of programmer analyst and get quality software at low cost and in the shortest possible time to satisfy users and ease and software adaptation to possible changes and evolution as the development of the Education Unit. |
