| Gaia: | With the purpose of producing 10.000 broilers, a poultry house was designed. It consists of a gabled roof with a porticoed structure and a rectangular shape and a surface area of 1250 m² (100 m x 12,5 m), with a capacity of 8 birds per meter m² in order to achieve correct functionality. This will be achieved according to the maximum transparency and lighting necessary for the welfare of the animal. The nave has a maximum height of 4,5 m (from ground level to ridge) and 3,5 m high to the eaves; It has a total of 26 porches located 4m between them; the floor is concrete with a gradient of 3%; the first 0,30 m of the lower part of the walls are made of brick masonry and the rest is covered with galvanized mesh; the roof is made of Dipanel with a gradient of 16% with eaves of 1 m. The structural design is based on the following codes and specifications: Regulation Ecuatoriana de la Construcción (NEC, 2015); Regulation ACI (318-14) and ASIC (360-10); and Regulation of Buenas Prácticas Avícolas (2015). Furthermore, due to a more uniform and reliable safety margin under different load conditions. The nave was designed thanks to the method based on load and resistance factors (LRDF). The calculation and design of the nave had as a fundamental principle that the unit forces, which act on the different elements of the structure, do not exceed the permissible unit forces whose description is found in the construction regulations. After collecting the information, carrying out the calculations and designing all the components of the structure, the appropriate alternative for the project can be determined. This will be based on material costs, execution time, skilled workforce, aesthetics and functionality combination and safety among other relevant aspects. The cost of the implemented structure is two hundred nine thousand, eight hundred thirty-six and two cents of dollar, of which the costs of the civil works of the nave occupy a value of 81,18% (170349,284). The equipment of air dispensers or ventilation system, sludge digesters, orbital reactor occupies 12,19% (25574,513). Finally, the security booth (cleaning and disinfection area) 6,63% (13912,223) Keywords: poultry house, structural design, regulation ecuatoriana de la construcción, regulation of buenas prácticas avícolas. |
