| Yhteenveto: | The need to monitor and collect hydrological data in an accurate and efficient way has driven the development of innovative technologies. Traditionally, hydrological data compilation involved manual procedures, resulting in a number of limitations such as incomplete or imprecise data. In the present research work, the design and construction of a prototype of an autonomous hydrological station (EHA) was raised, located at the University Park of Environmental Education and Recreation (PUEAR) of the National University of Loja. The station integrates LoRaWAN technologies and Microsoft Azure cloud services, which allows the collection of hydrometeorological data in an autonomous and efficient manner, which will be used for analysis and future research. Simulation and field tests validated the station's ability to accurately collect data for transmission and storage in a reliable way.
