| الملخص: | The research titled The Eclectic Method, an Effective Strategy to Facilitate Reading and Writing Learning in the Third Grade of Basic General Education, aims to determine the influence of the Eclectic Method on strengthening reading and writing skills in the third grade of the "José Ingenieros" Basic General Education School. It is descriptive research with a mixed approach and quasi-experimental design. The theoretical framework addresses selected topics related to the Eclectic Method and reading and writing. Regarding the methodology, scientific, analytical-synthetic, statistical, and descriptive methods were used. To obtain information, the teacher was interviewed, and students underwent the Magallanes reading and writing assessment, which allowed counting the errors students make when they read and write. The target population consists of one teacher and twenty-five students. The diagnostic results show that the majority of errors are related to syllabic reading, repetition, addition of graphemes and syllables, and rotation. Therefore, the proposal "A Fascinating Journey through Reading and Writing" is designed, with the eclectic method as its main input. After its implementation, favorable results are obtained, leading to the conclusion that this method is an effective strategy for learning reading and writing. |
