The research aims to: THE INTUITIVE METHOD AS A METHODOLOGICAL STRATEGY TO POTENTIATE THE LEARNING OF SIMPLE MACHINES IN THE FIRST YEAR STUDENTS OF UNIFIED GENERAL FERNANDO SUÁREZ PALACIO DE LA CIUDAD DE LOJA. PERIOD 2015-2016; Aims to use the intuitive method as a methodological strategy to enhance the learning of simple machines. The research responded to a descriptive (diagnostic) and quasi-experimental design. The methods that were used in his order were the following: comprehensive: allowed to study the group investigated from the interpretation of individual behavior and social action performed by the people who comprise it, to understand and explain their causes and effects of the problem investigated , Diagnosis: allowed to know the real situation of the group investigated at a given moment to discover problems and areas of opportunity, in order to correct the former and take advantage of the latter, modeling: facilitated representation or model to investigate reality, application workshop : Allowed to put into practice different types of knowledge, principles or measures, with the purpose of achieving the objective formulated in the present investigation, and of evaluating the effectiveness of the intuitive method as a methodological strategy to enhance the learning of simple machines through the Test Sign Rank of Wilcoxon. The main results found in the present investigation are related to difficulties, deficiencies or cognitive needs in the optimization of learning simple machines can be reduced or mitigated with the application with the application of the intuitive method.
