Through a descriptive study, with a quantitative approach, a cross-sectional, observational and prospective cohort, in which 86 patients whose ages ranged between 50 and 80 years old participated, with a predominance of female patients and who mainly met the the inclusion criteria established for the effect, it was established that there is a lack of therapeutic adherence in 62%, compared to 37.21% that there is adherence, which is given by the direct influence of factors related to therapy and factors socioeconomic that lead to patients having behaviors of non-adherence and therefore presenting signs and symptoms of involvement at the level of important organs, such as renal 61.62%, cardiac 32.56%, ophthalmological 67.44% and involvement at the cerebral 40.7% that modify the quality of life of patients leading to an increase in morbidity and mortality in this population due to non-compliance with treatment |
