Auditoría de gestión al área administrativa y Financiera de la dirección provincial agropecuaria de Loja - MAGAP en el periodo comprendido del 01 de enero al 31 de diciembre del 2014

This thesis, which name is Audit of administrative and financial management of “Direccion Provincial Agropecuaria de Loja” - MAGAP during the period January 1st – December 31st 2014, has been made regarding to “Universidad Nacional de Loja” regulations, as a previous requirement to apply for the Degree of CPA Accounting and Audit Engineering. With the purpose to achieve the objectives that have been intended in order to develop this audit, a previous reconnaissance stage was started and carried out through a work order; information about legal base, mission and vision. Next, audit and internal control evaluation were made and then, the execution of the audit was accomplished by means of techniques, program application and work papers to found out the findings; thus, obtaining results and providing recommendations that improve the management in the Entity. At the end of the research, it is concluded that the “Direccion Provincial y Agropecuaria de Loja” supports producers by promoting the development of agriculture/livestock sector in the city. However, it does not have a Training Plan that strengthen employees’ knowledge. Moreover, they do not rotate their staff in similar management areas, to decrease errors and avoid indispensable personnel.
