| Sammanfattning: | Constructivist didactic strategies for information management and participation are essential for the teaching and learning process of scientific content and the increase in the academic performance. The aim of the research was < to improve the academic performance of students through the application of constructivist didactic strategies which strengthen the management of scientific information and the participation of students of eight year of basic education of “Bernardo Valdivieso” educative unit, academic year 2022 – 2023. For the development of the research, the inductive method was considered, thus, it started from the identification of the problem, the research for relevant information for its resolution. According to the approach, this research is qualitative, because the most important characteristics of the educative context were determined, regarding the application of constructivist didactic strategies to improve the academic performance of students. On the other hand, according to the nature of the information, it corresponds to a participative action research, because, there was a significative interaction, teacher-student, the problem was identified, an intervention proposal was proposed and developed, in which, micro curricular planning was elaborated and executed. Moreover, the research according to its temporality is transversal because it was made in a short period of time. Representative data was obtained through evaluation instruments and research, which states that implemented constructivist didactic strategies were effective in the strengthen of the management of information and participation, improving significatively in the academic performance of students of eight year of basic education.
