| Итог: | The purpose of this research work was to carry out a semiotic study of the informative activities generated by the Cielo Animal Foundation with respect to the sterilization campaigns within 2017-2019, a period in which a total of 33 advertising images were published. For that reason, the general objective was to analyze from semiotics the informative activities generated by the Cielo Animal Foundation of the city of Loja to spread its sterilization campaigns. Likewise, three specific objectives were proposed, the first was to evaluate the narrative and the message of the informative activities carried out by the Fundación Cielo Animal. The second was to analyze the technical aspects that make up the narrative message that the foundation uses in its informative activities and the third was to know the degree of knowledge that the population of Loja has about pet sterilization. For that reason, these three research techniques were applied: The focus group, where an estimate of the message was made by the viewer; similarly, the interview technique was applied, the same one that was directed to Gabriela Medina, graphic designer; on the other hand, a survey was applied to the urban population of Loja. Finally, as an alternative proposal, it was proposed to design an advertising plan that helps to improve the dissemination of the benefits offered by sterilization in pets.
