Afegir etiqueta | Sumari: | The following work entitled "Increase in violence against women and household members due to the confinement measures adopted by The National Risk and Emergency Management Service (COE) during the COVID-19 pandemic", was born from the need to conduct a study aimed to determine the increase in violence against women or members of the family circle during the COVID-19 pandemic period, referring to the year 2020 and 2021. The study shows a significant increase in violence against women or members of the family circle during the pandemic period, in which many families were unable to leave their homes, however, it this was not the only factor that influenced more cases of violence towards family members, since they might cause psychologically and economically damages. To carry out In this thesis, materials and methods were applied that helped obtain essential data on the increase of violence against women or members of the household family, additionally, surveys were developed and applied to legal professionals, as well as interviews that allowed obtaining relevant information to develop the legal reform project of the Organic Integral Criminal Code, which guarantees members of the family circle a life free of violence, thus complying with what is established by our Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador. |
