| Итог: | The present study called INFLUENCE OF SEX EDUCATION ON RISKY SEXUAL PRACTICES OF ADOLESCENT TEENAGERS OF SECOND YEAR OF PARALLEL B HIGH SCHOOL, SANTA MARIANA DE JESUS EDUCATIONAL UNIT, 2020-2021, had the objective of determining the influence of sex education on the risky sexual practices of the sample. The research with quantitative approach, descriptive type and transversal non- experimental design, followed the methods: scientific, analytical, synthetic, deductive- inductive, hypothetical and statistical; it used the Adolescent Sexuality Knowledge Questionnaire and the Sexual Risk Behavior Scale, applied to 15 adolescents. In the results on knowledge of sexuality, the sample has high levels of knowledge of sexuality in: sexual and reproductive anatomy and physiology, sexual response cycle and contraceptive methods to prevent pregnancy; however, on sexually transmitted infections, 60% maintain low levels of knowledge. The results on sexual risk behaviors, 20% of the sample have already initiated sexual activity, showing medium and low risk behaviors, due to the age of the first sexual intercourse, the number of partners, sexual relations shortly after meeting and under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and the non-use of contraceptive methods. It is concluded that the sexual education received is outstanding but incomplete in terms of STIs, and sexual risk behavior is evident in one fifth of the sample; there is influence because it is proven that the greater the knowledge of sexuality, the lower the risks derived from sexual practices. Therefore, a sex education program is proposed to prevent risky sexual practices through the video forum, in the form of workshops to enrich the knowledge of sexuality in all its dimensions and thus avoid risks arising from sexual practices in adolescents |
