| Riassunto: | Refer to the use of agricultural, agro-industrial, gastronomic and artisanal resources of a town to put them in value and develop tourist activities aimed at benefiting small entrepreneurs, allows to introduce ourselves to the subject of this project called: "Proposal for agro-tourism based on products with territorial identity for the Olmedo canton, province of Loja", which was developed based on the following objectives; to elaborate the agro-tourism diagnosis of the current situation in the Olmedo Canton, province of Loja, to create agro- tourism products with territorial identity in the Olmedo Canton, province of Loja, and to determine a management model for products with territorial identity for the Olmedo Canton, province of Loja. Therefore, the methodology used was the "Guide for the design of agro- tourism products and guidelines for their implementation" proposed by the Association of International Congresses and Conventions (ICCA), which allowed for a multidimensional analysis of the territory, identification of products with territorial identity, tourist attractions, tourist services, create agro-tourism products with the direct participation of key stakeholders through a workshop and determine a management model, with the adaptation of the methodology for a management model of Ordoñez, (2023). The results obtained were; twenty- five products with territorial identity, fifteen places where they are offered, six tourist resources; four of the natural category with hierarchy I, two of the cultural category with hierarchy II, the development of a tourist package, a City tour and a management model, in which the main strategies for its development are tourism training, tourist signage, improvement of accessibility, research, institutional relations and empowerment of actors on the agro-tourism activity. In conclusion, it could be said that the Olmedo canton has sufficient resources such as PIT and tourist attractions for the creation of products that complemented with a management model, could begin to develop agro-tourism. |
