| Crynodeb: | The educational process in the area of Language and Literature seeks to encourage critical thinking in students, providing them with a tool to develop within their social environment. Thus, project-based learning is a key method in the improvement of educational quality in the tecina-learning process in recent years. The main objective of this study was to integrate Project Based Learning to dynamize the teaching-learning process in the area of Language and Literature at the Santa Mariana de Jesús Educational Unit. This quantitative research of non-experimental descriptive design that serves to analyze how a phenomenon is and how it manifests itself and its components in which 30 third grade students participated, used the analytical-synthetic method which "the analysis is produced through the synthesis of the properties and characteristics of each part of the whole, while the synthesis is made on the basis of the results of the analysis, this method will help us to better understand our results, For this reason, a survey was used to collect information that allowed us to obtain reliable data and to seek alternatives for better results. The survey was applied to students and teachers, and the results show that the majority of the students have a great liking for the Language and Literature classes, a situation that should be taken advantage of to the maximum by the teachers, providing new tools to improve and reinforce the topics learned in order to promote significant learning in this area and in the students. Therefore, it is concluded that Project Based Learning is a methodology that allows students to develop different skills and to be the protagonists of the construction of their knowledge.
