La participacion familiar como factor fundamental en el proceso de rehabilitación de los adolescentes en consumo problemático de drogas internos en la Estación Municipal de Auxilio Terapéutico Juvenil N°2 de la ciudad de Loja y la Intervención del Trabajador Social

The present research work entitled "Family participation as a fundamental factor in the process of rehabilitation of adolescents in problematic drug use inmates at the Municipal Youth Therapeutic Assistance Station No. 2 of the city of Loja and the intervention of the Social Worker " It was based on the general objective to strengthen the participation of the family in the process of rehabilitation of adolescents in problematic drug use through the intervention of the social worker and implement a proposal for social intervention. The specific objectives allowed us to relate the categories of study on the importance of the family in the process of rehabilitation of adolescents in problematic drug use and design a proposal with a social approach based on the results obtained. The methodology used was framed in the characteristics of a scientific, historical, inductive, deductive, descriptive and statistical study, a procedure that served to fulfill the general objective, with the help of the research instruments as a focal group and a survey applied to internal adolescents, parents of family and interview to the technical team immersed in the process of rehabilitation of problematic drug consumption. The main findings obtained in the research, where the participation of the family occurs, but there is no compromise necessary for there to be an active involvement of the same, where the main causes derive in the non-attendance to both individual and family therapies in a minimum percentage since belonging to another province of Loja hinders their mobilization to get involved in the recovery process, this is in addition to the fact that adolescents come from low-income families where father and mother have to work to pay the expenses of the family, making assistance to therapies not fully met, as well as 5 the fact that they come from unstructured homes, so that the adolescent does not have the participation of the two parents in their rehabilitation, causing a negative in the residents to successfully complete their treatment. For this reason, it is important to develop activities that involve more emphasis on working with the family, since once the internment stage is completed, the adolescent will reinsert himself into his family nucleus, and when he finds himself in the same conflictive environment, he will the adolescent returns to relapse, therefore it is of vital importance to make the family participate in the therapies where family coexistence and the distribution of rules in the home are encouraged.
