Zusammenfassung:Overweight and childhood obesity are defined as an abnormal or excessive accumulation of fat in the human body, among the causes according to OMS we have the global dietary change towards an increase in the intake of hypercaloric foods and the tendency to decrease of physical activity. Therefore, the present study had as objectives: to identify the food frequency, to know the prevalence of the consumption of "junk foods" with the beginning of unhealthy habits and to categorize the physical activity in the students of “La Salle” high school, April-August 2016 period, through a descriptive cross-sectional study, a survey was carried out in 183 students, obtaining the following results: 41% of students were overweight and 1% were obese, a food frequency of 75% cereals, 52% dairy products and 30% sausages are part of a daily intake, 51% of weekly fruit feed, 49.4% prevalence of daily consumption of 3 to 6 ultraprocessed products / junk food and the 90.9% are active. The crossing of variables ch2 between the daily consumption of food "junk" (0.00), physical activity (0.049) and overweight / obesity. In conclusion, there was an association between unhealthy eating habits, physical activity, and overweight / obesity in this population.
