Shrnutí:This thesis titled MOTIVATIONAL TECHNIQUES TO IMPROVE THE INVOLVEMENT OF THIRD GRADE STUDENTS OF PARALLEL B BASIC GENERAL EDUCATION IN THE AREA OF LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE, SCHOOL CHILDREN MIXED FINANCIAL IV CENTENARY NO. 1, OF THE CITY OF LOJA. ACADEMIC PERIOD 2014-2015 , had as general objective to apply motivational techniques to enhance the involvement of children in third grade B parallel in the Department of Language and Literature of the Joint Public School No. 1 Children IV Centenario. The research was pre-experimental, field and cross-sectional explanatory. For its development inductive, deductive and descriptive statistical methods were used. In addition, he resorted to the technique of his instrument survey questionnaire was applied to a population consisting of a teacher and 25 students. After the analysis and interpretation of the data was obtained as a result most students identify the class as tired and the teacher does not use motivations, which makes involvement in the learning process, so that the teacher should bear in mind motivational techniques that are essential for meaningful learning. As a general conclusion states that the problem that arose decreased with the application of motivational techniques , by research through workshops , same that helped the involvement and active participation of students in the teaching-learning process
