Sumario:Hematopoietic diseases such as leukemia affect greatly the quality of life of people who suffer, treatment requires changes in lifestyle both the patient and his family and the support provided by the multidisciplinary palliative care team directly influence on the positive or negative outcome of patients. This research aims to know the quality of life of patients with leukemia, identify palliative care they receive and thus establish the relationship between these two variables. It is performed under a qualitative approach, descriptive. EORTC QLQ C30 survey, consisting of 30 items, which are classified into 3 main functional, somatic ratings, and overall assessment of their quality of life is used. The sample analyzed is clear of all leukemic patients treated at the Hospital of SOLCA - LOJA during July-December 2015 period, chosen according to certain criteria for inclusión. The total sample corresponds to 54 patients, aged between 5 and 75 years. Regarding the results, it is observed that 85 % of patients supported the multidisciplinary palliative care team, which despite its pathology, the estimated quality of life in equal percentage is positive.
