PROYECTO DE FACTIBILIDAD PARA LA CREACIÓN DE UNA CAJA DE AHORRO, DESTINADA A LA ASOCIACIÓN DE PRODUCTORES AGROPECUARIOS “REINA DEL CISNE” DEL CANTÓN OLMEDO

Over the years, the development of savings banks has evolved considerably, this type of organizations have become an alternative to improve the economy of people who at the time of having access to services and financial products contribute to the promotion of a social and solidary economy. In this context, the lack of incentive to the good practice of a financial culture of the members of the Association of Agricultural Producers means that they do not have access to savings and credit services to increase their production activities. That is why the development of this thesis, aims to provide the feasibility study for the implementation of a savings bank for members of the Association of Agricultural Producers "Queen of the Swan" Olmedo Canton of the Province of Loja , the same that is directed mainly in the channeling of resources towards savings, as well as the easy access to credits that the partners require to improve and increase their productive activities. This research was carried out using the methodology applied to an investment project with its respective adjustments, since it is based on the principle that a savings account does not seek profitability, but sustainability. For which the market, technical, administrative-legal and financial studies are carried out. The results obtained in the research show that there is a social demand for the savings bank to be implemented. The initial investment required for execution will be covered in its entirety with the Association's own resources. In the financial evaluation, financial evaluation techniques were applied, which present favorable values for the entity, which shows that the project will be sustainable over time. Finally, taking into account the results obtained from the studies it can be shown that the proposal is technically, administratively and financially viable, for which reason the implementation of the Savings Bank called "Queen of the Swan" is recommended.
