“Fortalecimiento al Plan de Desarrollo y Ordenamiento Territorial (PDOT) en el Ámbito Turístico para la parroquia rural Yangana de la provincia de Loja”

The research work "Strengthening the Development Plan and Territorial Ordering (PDOT) in the Tourist Area for the rural Yangana parish of the province of Loja" was based on the tourist diagnosis as a period for the development and strengthening of the tourism activity within the parish, since it seeks to improve the capacity of tourism management with the actors involved in tourism and its community in general. The general objective of this research work is: To strengthen tourism to the Development Plan and Territorial Ordering of the rural parish Yangana of the province of Loja. For this, three specific objectives were set. First: To carry out a diagnosis of the current situation of the tourist component of the Yangana parish, to fulfill this objective, various methods and techniques were used such as documentary and bibliographic sources, in the same way, analytical-synthetic, inductive, deductive, methods were applied. descriptive, scientific, direct observation, interviews, methodology of Carla Ricaurte (2009), matrix of prioritization of tourist attractions used in the dry forest pool and for the information gathering of tourist attractions, the records of the Ministry of Tourism were used (MINTUR 2017) of the attractions subsequently prioritized taking into account the infrastructure and basic services of each attraction. For the fulfillment of the second objective: to elaborate a tourism development proposal to strengthen the parish, the SWOT and SWOT matrix was developed in which the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats of the community could be known, in the same way it was taken in consideration of the strategy matrix from which 3 strategic objectives were obtained: design tourism products to strengthen the Yangana parish; develop a proposal for the promotion and dissemination of tourism and develop a proposal for tourism training with topics on tourism motivation and guidance for the residents and providers of tourism services in the parish.The proposals were selected by the president and his collaborators of the Parish Board of the parish Yangana in the participatory meeting, as the validation of the swot and the socialization and validity of the training topics for the providers of tourist services in the parish was carried out through a Linker scale applied to them. For the development of the third objective: Determine the tourist profile and preferences of the effective demand related to the proposed proposals of objective 2 in the Yangana parish, to carry out this objective, surveys were applied to the cantons of Loja, Catamayo, Zamora, Saraguro and Chinchipe since they are neighboring places to the parish, through the surveys applied virtually, segments by age of tourists were determined where the profile of tourists could be determined, and with this the possible potential demand for the proposed proposals and effective demand of the tourist route and interpretive trail proposals and thus have real support and assurance of the development and application of the validated proposals. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations that are directed mainly to the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Yangana parish are described to establish agreements and alliances with the public and private sectors for the development of tourism projects and thus help the strengthening and tourism development of the parish.
