Voeg label toe | Samenvatting: | The evaluation of an irrigation system is of importance when assessing the agronomic design and hydraulic design, determining the coefficient of uniformity of irrigation, the efficiency of water distribution in irrigation systems is important when knowing the state and operation of its hydraulic components. The objective of this work was to evaluate an irrigation system in coffee cultivation and propose solutions aimed at improving the operation for the benefit of 0.2 ha of the Shagüindo farm located in the San Pedro de la Bendita parish, of the Catamayo county; for this, an evaluation of the available facilities and their operation is carried out through a technical analysis and participatory methodologies with the user. Irrigation systems with high efficiency result in good quality crops and high yields. As a result of the evaluation, it was determined that the facilities presented problems due to the existing design. Based on the deficiencies observed, improvements are proposed that can be grouped into two areas: i) Repairs of equipment/materials in poor condition ii) Improvements to the existing design.
