Ամփոփում:The study focused on determining the level of nursing intervention in the prevention of diabetic foot, the patients of Hospital General Puyo; the research is not experimental, transversal, descriptive literature and field. The population consists of a sample of twenty nurses in outpatient services, emergency and clinic. For data collection, survey and direct observation techniques were applied; as instrument the Questionnaire and observation guide to assess nursing intervention for patients with diabetic foot were applied, which demonstrates that 65% are graduated, the 60% of them have a job stability and the level of compliance in education is low with a percentage of 80%, 15% indicates it is medium and 5% of them scores it as excellent, the application of retirement plan is low with 90%, which means that monitoring nursing is not performing in 95%? The reasons reported by the nursing staff are overload and lack of staff and conducting various activities that are not specific to nursing. It is necessary to assume the duties incumbent, nurse delegating activities that are characteristic of support staff, for which it was requested to human talent to increase jobs for ensuring compliance with nursing interventions. A manual as a proposal was developed to strengthen the knowledge of diabetic foot, a copy was given to each leader outpatient services, emergency and clinic; the manual encourages self-care education to the dissemination of healthy lifestyles, exercise and prevention measures.
