Резюме:The following degree work refers to, THE TEACHING MATERIALS AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE LEARNING OF THE CHILDREN OF THE FIRST YEAR OF BASIC EDUCATION GENERAL EDUCATION CENTER "SAN AGUSTIN" CUENCA CITY, SCHOOL PERIOD 2014 - 2015. PROPOSITION GUIDELINES; and it is structured in accordance to the Academic Regulations of the National University of Loja. The general target posed for this investigation was: Analyze the Didactical Material and its Incidence on the Learning of the Group under Study. The methodology utilized in developing this document is based upon a scientific, inductive, deductive, analytic, and synthetic method. The techniques and instrument therein applied were a survey addressed to the teachers in order to obtain information about the utilization of the Didactical Material as well as an Observation Guide addressed to the students who successfully completed the first year of general basic education in order to evaluate their scholastic achievement. By analyzing the data we secured, we can infer and reach the following conclusions: 1) the didactical material is not only utilized 100% in the daily work load but it also positively affects in similar percentage the scholastic achievement in its function, typology, and benefits; and 2) most of the dexterities associated to the Basic Maturational Functions are based 40% on criterion of process and another 40% in criterion of achievement on the evaluated children, information that merited to be taken into account in the planning of the first semester of the school year in order to avoid difficulties in the subsequent development of literacy and its calculation. Finally, in order to contribute to the purpose of improving in the near future the education of the children who start their schooling, we have elaborated a Guide for the correct use of the Didactical Material and its Incidence in the Learning of the First Year of General Basic Education, presented to the directors, teachers, and representatives for their consideration, so that it can be utilized for a better priming, motivations, and academic performance.
