總結:Self-medication has been defined as the consumption of medications on one's initiative or by unqualified advice, to treat diseases or symptoms self-diagnosed and not prescribed by a health professional. The objective of this Curricular Integration Work was to evaluate selfmedication practices and associated factors in students of the Nursing Career at the National University of Loja. It was descriptive research, with a quantitative and cross-sectional approach, with the participation of 79 students of the rotating internship, to whom a questionnaire called "Selfmedication practices of university students" was applied. The results obtained concerning the sociodemographic characteristics identified that 73.4% were women and had a public insurance IESS, 70.9% were between 21 and 23 years of age, and 91.1% had training in pharmacology, of which 57.0% had good knowledge. Regarding self-medication practices, 84.8% self-medicated in the last year, 44.3% of them 2 to 3 times a year, and the most commonly used drug (75.9%) was anti-flu medication, followed by 58.2% analgesics. When analyzing the factors associated with self-medication, such as personal, economic, sociocultural, and those related to obtaining medicines, it was identified that there is a direct relationship since the P value was less than 0.05. It was concluded that the personal, economic, and sociocultural factors and those related to obtaining medicines were predominant for self-medication in the present study group
