| Sumari: | In the current era, the substantial increase in cannabis consumption over the past decade has generated a scenario of growing global relevance. According to the World Drug Report presented by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in 2021, approximately 200 million people worldwide consumed cannabis in 2019, representing 4.3% of the global population aged 15 to 64. This phenomenon has raised concerns in various countries due to the adverse consequences associated with its use, including harmful health effects, the potential for developing dependence, an increase in criminal and violent activities, as well as other social and economic impacts. This systematic literature review aimed to identify whether there is an association between adolescents who consume cannabis and the practice of risky sexual behaviors, through the selection and review of scientific articles on risky sexual behaviors and cannabinoid consumption in adolescents, and the descriptions of the main risky sexual behaviors found, all using a flowchart with the PRISMA technique. The systematic review to determine the relationship between risky sexual behaviors and cannabis use in adolescents was conducted by analyzing various scientific articles published between 2018 and 2023. The results obtained, both qualitative and quantitative, demonstrated that the main risky sexual behaviors include early sexual activity, multiple sexual partners, sexually transmitted diseases, and unprotected sexual intercourse. In conclusion, the results obtained in this literature review indicate that cannabis consumption is significantly linked to risky sexual behaviors in adolescents. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of preventive approaches and future research to better understand this association and guide specific, comprehensive, and multidisciplinary interventions |
