The general objective of the research is to contribute with a proposal focused on the prevention of early pregnancies in the students of the Educational Unit the Dolorosa night section, through processes of awareness and sexual education that help students to have more knowledge on prevention issues. The specific objectives of the investigation allowed us to analyze the causes and consequences generated by teenage pregnancies such as family dysfunction, feelings of loneliness, low self-esteem, love conflicts, etc. It was possible to identify the consequences that exist during and after early pregnancy, as they are; fear, anguish, confusion, poor school performance, absenteeism, dropout, etc. Regarding the methodology, the scientific, inductive, deductive, analytical and descriptive method was used for the purpose of verifying, concluding, detailing, analyzing and describing all the information obtained in the research process. In the same way, techniques such as observation, group interview and reflection groups were used, which served to collect information regarding prevention alternatives in early pregnancies and thus comply with the objectives set out in the research. The main findings show that the lack of information and ignorance in adolescents about prevention alternatives such as: methods of contraception between these rhythm methods, the low use and incorrect use of them, abstinence, lack of self-determination are causing I know of teenage pregnancies, to these causes are added the factors of the social and family environment such as: family dysfunction, feelings of loneliness, low self-esteem, love conflicts, influence or 5 pressure by the group of friends leads the adolescent to make wrong decisions. They end up conceiving an unwanted pregnancy, usually this situation is a bad experience for both the family and the teenage mother, since this problem has several consequences, such as the rejection of the relatives of the students for causing a certain degree of failure in their mother and father, another worrying factor for the young n are the questions they have regarding the birth of the child (how they will solve the problem, regarding the economic situation and their new way of life) this causes low self-esteem in adolescents causing neglect of homework, The thought of concern about the situation they are going through does not motivate them to attend classes, causing poor educational performance and school dropout. These indicators of causes and consequences that teenage pregnancies entail urge the need for research to develop a proposal focused on the prevention of teenage pregnancies in the educational institution where the social worker intervenes in order to reduce teenage pregnancies. through programs, activities, talks, etc. that are aimed at the promotion and prevention, with the aim of improving the environment of the young students of the Educational Unit "La Dolorosa" night section. |
