總結:The research was about identifying the prevalence of alcoholism in rotating internship students of nursing career at the National University of Loja, Puyo Campus. The survey technique was applied to 48 people in order to promote knowledge about alcoholism. The research design was cross-sectional, descriptive, bibliographic and field. The following results were obtained: 62.5% of the population is 20-25 years old, female sex predominates with 83.33%, mestizo ethnicity is the largest with 75%; 77.08% are from urban areas; 45.83% of parents support their studies; 41.66% receive a government scholarship; 60.41% are single, 50% are parents with children, alcohol consumption with the 37.5% According to Alcohol Test, the level of alcohol consumption is low with 62.5%; factors that influence consumer culture we have with 66.67%; consumption in important dates with 38.89%; family rejection and consequences have a family away with 44.44%; consequences at school absences to classes is 33.33% and depression 22.22%. It came to the conclusion that alcohol consumption is low with 62.5%; however, it is high a percentage of the midlevel with 35.41%, considering that they are health personnel that promotes healthy lifestyles. As prevention plan, educational activities were carried out through workshops, delivering leaflets, radio and television broadcasting. Keywords: Prevalence, Alcoholism, Students.
